have just tried to play this game abd have had to choose a new name and start over its really annoying can anyone tell me why this has happened please

I don't know why your game has done this, but I do remember it has happened to someone before. I've flagged this for you.

I haven't played this game since around Halloween, and I had a bunch of gold and silver, and lots of outfits... I just came back, and it started me on a new game. However, after I went through the tutorial again, I checked the herbologist, and it shows how many of each plant I'd grown, and it matched what I'd done on my previous game, I think.

However, everything else is as a beginner, I have one outfit, and not much money, a twiggy wand...

It's bizarre. Is there an explanation for this, and maybe some way to get my wand, clothes, and money back?

Or at least my clothes? I had some special edition ones, and I liked them.

Willow - there was an issue with this earlier over christmas break - although - I thought it had been fixed. I'm going to flag this for the elders - any chance you remember what you were missing? and can you make a list of it? Perhaps that might help them...

Now what? I DID lose EVERYTHING including my character name over the holidays. So it really WAS NOT waiting for me to return. And it let me reuse the same name. I discovered it kept the count of the plants I grew badges, wands,levels are gone, etc.

I have been away for a few weeks and I logged into the game tonight to find that all of my information has gone, all of my badges have disappeared, all of my plants have gone, my satchel is empty... everything is gone! I even had to put in my username again at the beginning.

I was a level six and was starting the spiderbeast quest (I think that's the name)... now I am a level one and it's asking me to cast my first spell!

What happened? Is there anyway to get all of my game data back? I do hope so as I don't have the time at the moment to start all over again :(

This definitely should not happen. I'm going to investigate this and figure out what's going on. If an account is indeed deleted we should be able to restore it from backup.

Give me a couple days to look into this and I'll get back to you when I figure out what's going on. I'm really sorry for the trouble! I'm hoping we may be able to fix it tomorrow but I'm not sure what the issue is yet so I can't say for sure.

Before I left for the holidays I was way into the game, well past the shell seeds, and changing costumes for Halloween, had been playing for almost a year and when I got back from Christmas holidays just last week even my character was gone. I had to name a new one and start from scratch but all of the seeds I had grown are still all logged in at the herbologist. Could you tell me what happened that I had to start with the very first wand and lost all of my progress accept the plants I had grown, which means squat when they are not being recognized until I do the quest over again anyway.

I see you were called Willow the crafty before is this right?, your profile says you arrived on the island 5 months ago is this right ? I have heard this has happened to other wizards due to a bug , i will flag this topic so that he elders can take a look at it for you. Be patient as they are busy at the moment.

My father passed away November 27th and I have not been online with this game since before that so things are a little fuzzy. I will be patient and keep playing the game I restarted because I like the island and what it has to offer. Thank you to all that will take time to figure this out.

I just decided to play with my restart game and now I noticed my clock isn't doing 15 min. It was at 21 min. when I last looked.

Sue, the game mechanics for energy changed recently. Take a look at your profile. You have 1 jewel. Each jewel you earn, your max energy goes up by 1. BUT the regain energy time for 1 energy stays at 7:30 min. (why when you had 2 energy the timer for full refill was 15 min, while for 3 energy, it is 22:30 min)

I had to stop playing for a while b/c my computer died and I had to get a new one and then there was all sorts of stuff going on so I didnt have time to get on. I came back today and all my stuff is gone it made me start over from the beginning. Is there any way to get my game back. It took me forever to get all that done I dont really want to play if I have to do it all over but I loved this game!!!!

Hi everyone, we have found the issue that caused some people's games to be reset. What we're trying to do is figure out the best way to restore your game, and then, we're going to give people the option. Either we can leave your game untouched and you can keep playing from the point you are now, or we can reset your game back to XXX date (depends which backup we're pulling from).

It's taking us longer to resolve than than we hoped. We anticipate having a solution this week so that we can start taking requests for "restore". Once we get to that point, restoring will be instantaneous, we'll just post a way for people to request their game to be restored.

Tracy to change back to a girl, you will need to purchase a transformation potion in the clothing section of the Supply Shop.

Hi everyone, an update on this process. We were working hard to restore the games by the end of this week, but Dude was not able to complete this on top of everything else.

It's our top priority for next week, so early next week (hopefully Monday or Tuesday) I will post the instructions for getting your game restored.

I apologize again for the inconvenience and for the length of time it's taking us to address this. It's unfortunately a difficult issue :( but we're confident we'll be able to restore your game back to the state before you lost everything.

I've been off the game for a while - when I came back I had to start all over, chose a new name etc. I can't remember what my old name was. Is there any way of getting my old game back?

Any News Keith? Not trying to be a pain but Tuesday is almost over and I was getting exited lol. No worries tho I am playing a game seeing how far I can get in the time it takes to get my old one back lol!

Um... I don't remember everything I was missing, but I had a lot of gold and silver, and pretty much all the clothes I could get with silver, and several that I could get with gold. And most of the special edition clothes. I also had a relatively high level wand... It's been too long for me to remember, though.

Oh, and Tracy, if you're stuck on caps lock, to avoid "shouting," hold down the shift key for small type. :)

I just shifted house and did not have an internet connection til now. i can't remember my old stats but i will keep on playing when i have the time irregardless if i am able to get my old game back. it is a pity but i can live with it as long as it will not happen again. 1 warning thou if it happen again without any of the elders knowing what make it happen then i will leave the island.

Well, it looks like I've been transferred back from Willow to Kylanna, most of my stuff, if not all, is back. Good... but sadly I lost the family jewel I had. I had 4 energy, no I'm back to two. Oh well.

Aha! Looks like everything's been fixed. Cool! Thank you to whoever is taking care of these problems!
