Hi everyone!

This is going to be a big weekend for Enchanted Island. August 1st marks the 3-month anniversary of my purchase of Enchanted Island. To celebrate we have a lot planned. Here's a rough timeline:

July 30th - The timer on Tiger Shells and Unicorns will expire and they'll be removed from the shop.

July 30th to August 1st - Player Appreciation Sale! There will be a wide variety of premium seeds and items, as well as some kind of discount. This sale will last about 48 hours (twice as long as most of our sales!). For most players it will start and end in the middle of the day.

[i](The sale starts when the timer expires on Tiger Shells and continues until the timer expires on the Forest Shop)[/i]

[b]Special Note: Tiger Shells and Unicorns will not be available during the sale since they are already in the shop and set to expire.[/b]

August 1st - All the items in the Forest Shop will switch from gold to silver. Prices will change when the currency changes. All the existing quests, pets, etc, will still be available. The only item that will [b]not[/b] be available after the change is the Gnomish Nugget.

I'll post more info on the sale tomorrow when it starts.

I'll also post the planned silver prices for all the Forest Shop items tomorrow.

One request - can you please make pets interchangeable, so we can keep them in our sachel and switch them (so that getting a new one doesn't mean we lose the old one)! I really love my frog and don't want to lose him, but would like earn the badges for getting the other pets too.

I've enjoyed the game more in the past three months than at any time before. Part of that, I'm sure, is the inevitable progression in the game as I unlocked more quests and things. But I think much of it has been the increase of things to do. Good job, Dude! Thank you!

A question to go with the accolades: Will Ancient Seeds be leaving the shop with the Tiger Shells and Unicorns?

@bazjack: Ancient Seeds will be available throughout (until sometime in August).

@Jean: The Gnomish Nugget is a special reward for players who finish the Gnomish Adventure quest while the Spores are still a premium seed (only available for gold).

You can buy Spores in the Forest Shop right now. If you finish the quest before they switch from gold to silver on August 1st you'll receive a Gnomish Nugget.

looking forward to it, now dont know whether to save my gold for the sale or buy some more tiger shells, ummmmmmm what to do still can master another time just wont get the rare sea change thats all, shame. still youre very generous dude.

My query is that I haven't done the Under the Sea quest. If I start casting Tiger Shells will it start for me? (I have completed the seed) with mastery as an add-on?

I daresay this got asked already, sorry if I'm repeating! I've found seed mastery badges a good addition (had started to do something a little less onerous to pass the time before it was introduced) but not likely to master premium seeds due to cost.

It's been a fun 3 months in fact. Must visit the bars again - when this ambrosia wears off!

Love it and your work Dude! One question: are butterfly seeds going to be available over the weekend? I was trying to get all 5 butterflies to unlock them but didn't quite finish the safari seeds. I was hoping both would be available this weekend.

@Dude: You have done so well these past three months!!!!! Congrats, really, congrats. You put so much time and effort into this game, and ask for nothing in return, only that we play it. You give us so much Gold without us ever having to give a cent, we get more Gold, or special currency, here than any other game on FB that I know of, if you can get it at all for free in other games! (Sorry if that doesn't make sence, but I don't know how else to say it.) This has to be most player/game creator interactive game on FB. (What I mean by that is that this Help & Dicuss part of the island is very crowded with topics, so many suggestions, questions, everything, and you even take time to answer some yourself!) EI has made some great progress in these past three months, and I'm sure it will continue to grow, prosper, and someday become the most popular game on FB! It should be, for it's the best by miles! Keep up the awesome, wonderful, great work!!!!!!!

Wow, gives me chills thinking about what the 1 yr anniversary will be like next spring! The game has kept me entertained all summer, next week we return to the classroom, so what with lesson planning and all, I will have much less time to play. I absolutely love the changes you have made, it has probably been a work intensive time for you, but wow what a great job you are doing, hope you are finding it worthwhile. Love you dude!
