Dude, can we pls keep our pets? Just like Clothing, it'll be great if we can choose from our amazing satchel which pet to take on our adventures. It's a lot of hard work to adopt a pet, then crack our brains over what name would do justice to such a beautiful pet, and when we have grown feelings for each other, we have to part forever?!?

We pet-lovers have compassionate hearts and wish to adopt more pets and give them all a loving home and friends to play with, but we have to abandon one to help and love another? That's so cruel Dude, our pets need us and we need our pets! Please don't take them away, I beseech you from the bottom of my bottomless satchel and heart!!!

Love my Prince Charming and spent a lot of gold creating the reanimation elixer, so he could be released from the statue. I would love to get the forest pet badges but I do not want to part ways with my froggie prince...

I fifth it! :) LOL. I don't want to loose my froggy either. When I saw that there was a pet frog I had to figure out how to get it, but I'd love to get the forest pet badges when the forest seeds go to silver.

I concur. Having released my froggie, in order to secure all of the forest spirit badges, I will have to embark on another adventure to get him back!! His singing and dancing is quite charming!!!!

Could we have a Nature Lovers' secret quest that enables us to keep all of our pets in a sanctuary until we retrieve one to go on adventures with us?

That is a great idea! I lost my butterfly to get the frog... love the frog but it would be nice to be able to get them all and keep them.

I *counts* 8th the sentiment that it would be fantastic to get to keep my froggie and while adopting another pet. I could even adopt 2 more and then the two I'm not playing with can keep each other company in a kennel area of the bottomless satchel.

I should have anticipated this... game designers love either-or choices. We always think it's good to force players to choose between items, or pets, or story paths, etc. We always think it'll be "fun". And, players will debate which path to take!

But, players uniformly hate being forced into these "choices". : ))

So, I should know better... and, yet, even as you're all telling me I'm wrong for thinking this is fun... well, I still think it's kind of fun. I know. I'm kind of stupid like that. : ))

Anyway, I think Amma's suggestion is fantastic. I can't guarantee a quest like that will come out tomorrow... but, I love the idea and I'm more than willing to admit when I'm wrong. So, eventually we will see some way to keep more than one pet. : ))

I just don't like the fact of spending gold to get a pet then spending silver to get a different pet when you lost all the presious gold to get the other one.

i do love my frog, Mr. Jeremy Fisher, but getting the other pet badges is soooo tempting... i may be eating frog legs for supper one day...

Haha pixie... see, this is why I waited until the forest shop changed to silver before collecting the forest spirit badges! I already have 4 and am working on my last 2... after that, I'll collect the final ingredient I need for my reanimation elixir, and then I can get a cute little froggie for myself! =D

(Although... I do like how the spider looks more than the frog. But the frog has benefits... maybe if we're ever allowed to keep multiple pets, I'll go back and find my spider again. =P)

ACK, I just finished earning all the spirit badges, and now I have my cute spider... but I don't know if I should give it up so quickly for the frog, haha. Dilemma! =(

Thanks Dude. I want the spider so much - willing to give up my firefly - but also so want the frog - and wouldn't mind having a dragonfly, a butterfly too - I need a pet sanctuary! And then, couldn't we get pairs of pets so our froggies could have friends? (Alas, multiple spiders would likely eat each other)

Just wondering if anyone else has been trying to get the praying mantis too?? & how long it took to beable to get 3 so can adopt one?? I've casted over 60 seeds whilst working on obtaining this one pet & still only got one praying mantis!!!! :-( Hope it's ok to ask this on this thread?!? Thanks in advance for any answers!! :-)

Finally got it, after 80 castings!!! LOL Thought I'd post here again incase anyone else wonders the same thing & reads this thread!!! :-)

Hmm, I actually got the praying mantis in 24 casts... Although, I guess the number might be higher because the mantis was the 5th pet I worked on? But I only used up 24 pots when I started trying for it. =)

I was also really lucky in that the mantis never came up while I was working on my other pets, but then after I switched to the pot, it was the 2nd or 3rd plant that grew!

It would be so nice to be able to keep all our pets,than in the future myabe quest that you need to use a certain pet or more than one pet to be used in a quest.Just a thought!
