I do not play any of the gold quests because I do not play often enough to accumulate enough gold. I would love to send my gold to a friend. She is disabled and plays a lot. It would be cool to also share unused or unwanted gifts.

I totally agree. If not that, let us be able to send gold seeds to them.

I don't play a lot either. So, I decided not to bother with the gold quests. I don't have that much gold right now, but still, someone else could be using it.

Trading with other players will probably never be a feature of this game. The only trading available is with the visiting Traders in the game and there is the possibility of a trading post being added to the game someday in the future. There is a potential problem I can see with this if Dude did decide to implement it. It would be possible to open multiple accounts to gain the daily gold and then GIVE it back to main accounts. This would make the game unbalanced and I don't know how easy it would be to police.

Sandy - for trade read transfer. There is unlikely ever to be the opportunity to give gifts from your satchel or money stores to other players.

Option of giving gold/silver/items to other players will sooner or later lead for some people to create fake accounts on oder to collect as much as possible without really playing at all. It has happened so many times in some other games and it allways creates riots between players.

I was just thinking today, that my sister would appreciate a gift of gold for a christmas present. It would be cool (and lucrative) if we could buy gold and then distribute it to people in our island families.

Im having an issue buying Gold. No payment method is accepted, not paypal whicj I use regulary, or either of my credit cards or on my mobile phone. why is this I need more gild to acheive anything? Im in Australia is that makes any difference.

I will just reiterate: We can't allow players to transfer items or gold or silver from one account to another. It's unfortunate, but this would encourage people to create multiple accounts and transfer daily gold bonus, items, etc, from several accounts into a main account.

The choice for every game is essentially this:

1. You can have free gold (daily gold bonus, level-up gold, etc)

OR

2. You can transfer items and gold from player to player.

Unfortunately, having both creates fraud -- which is unfair to honest players (the majority!) who fall behind people who take advantage of the system.

I usually try to accomodate player demand, but this is one issue I can't budge on. Sorry. : ((

Tami, you could always buy gold for your sister's gift by logging in to her account (with her permission, naturally) and buying some EI from within her profile. Or of course you could give her the money with a note for what it represents.
