I just put all the prize petals into my hat, mixed them up really well, and drew the following winners!

Grand Prize (receiving 2500 gold): Anja the Princess

Next there were 10 first place winners (receiving 1000 gold), they are:

Leaders Pots have also been awarded to the players on the leaderboard. As you recall, players finishing in the top 10 received 100 pots, players in the top 50 received 50 pots, and the rest of the leaders received 10 pots.

The Leaders Pots were added directly to your satchels, they won't appear in the normal prize area.

Finally a few contest stats:

Registered players earned a total of 657147 points. Note, this is quite a few less than the total points earned by all players: 912,597.

This is because many players were unable to earn the minimum of 50 points -- and, a few players who did earn 50 points, never registered. : ((

There were 4440 registered players in this contest. So, the average points per registered player was about 148 points.

As you can see, the winner with the fewest points had 51 points. The winner with the most had 1584 points.

My goodness I won something for the first time ever! I was so flustered when I saw a prize in my free gifts tab that I clicked and it disappeared into my satchel before I had time to check. I know it was pomellian seeds but didn't even register how many.

Love the game, fun contests, so I am not complaining, but . . .
Maybe sometime you could have a contest where everyone has to earn say 50 prize petals, change their status message and then that's it. one chance in the drawing per participant, it would eliminate the leader board I realize, but for those of us without unlimited resources for buying gold, and with limited time to cast, would still stand a better chance to actually win something.

Hecete, I'm pretty sure that's how the first prize petal contest was run, but people complained about how it wasn't fair to those who cast way, way more than others. And I mean, this IS a contest, right? If you want a higher chance of winning, you need to cast more often. It's like buying lottery/raffle tickets - completely up to you how many times you want to enter.

And by the way, the highest ranked person who won a prize was #12. Nobody in the top ten won. So you see, getting super many prize petals really doesn't make a difference when the person at the top of the leaderboard only had 0.3% of all entries.
