The Summer Prize Petal contest just ended. Are you registered for the contest? To be eligible to win a prize you need to have earned 50 points and registered for the contest.

At the top you'll see how many points you have and a message telling you if you are or are not registered.

If you're NOT registered:

1. Click on your name or avatar (on the left side of this page)
2. Look for the speech bubble coming from your avatar, click "edit status".
3. Write the word [b]summer[/b] in your status message and click "Update Your Status".

Everyone who registered for the contest will receive the [b]Summer Prize Petaler[/b] badge. You receive the badge when you cast, shortly after the contest has ended.

We're going to give everyone an extra 24 hours to register for the contest before awarding prizes. Don't forget to register! : ))

Thanks Dude...I had a blast trying to stay in the top ten........ barely made it (in 9th as of now.).... though that could very well change if someone registers within the next 24 with more points than me. Lmfao

The players who finished in the top 10 will receive 100 Leaders Pots. Those who finished in the top 50 will receive 50 pots, and everyone else in the top 100 will receive 10 pots.

The pots will be awarded along with the rest of the prizes in a couple days. : ))

Phew, that's a relief. I expected to get home twenty minutes ago to cast a final few seeds and get a few more petals. When I realised I was going to be late I spent the whole journey home worrying if I'd been pushed off the leader board - but I managed to hang in there at 96th!

I do like those leader pots.

Could someone please take a look why I am not recieving the Petalers badges? It was the same with the May challenge, I was doing very well, this time I even made top #100 but I did not recieve the badge. The Contest screen says I'm registered... what is going on? :(

@jools: My guess: You need to cast.

I checked your profile and everything looks good to me, but it says you haven't cast in "about 1 hour". You need to cast after the contest ends, and I'm not sure you have yet. : ))

Great contest - even if I was never going to make it into the top 100! For future competitions, it would be nice for all entrants to have just one pot.

i give up on all contests. i aint never gonna win nothing but a stupid badge anyways.

Hey I've updated my status to say "summer" quite a while ago, and it still says I'm not registered!!!!How come??????

Lee, if you updated before you had the 50 petals, you might need to go back into your status, and re-edit/save it.

Crystal, the drawing hasn't been done yet for the main prizes. Everyone who is registered has a chance to win, not just the top 100.

I was trying SO hard to stay in the top 10, but with taking time to sleep last night, and then being stuck at work today, I didn't get to keep casting and sadly slipped out of the top 10, BUT at least I still ended up in 13th, so I'll still get 50 of those GORGEOUS leaders pots. I've never done so well in one of these contests, so I'm thrilled!!

Bert, did you have the word "summer" before you got your 50th petal? For the contest, you need to update it after you've qualified to be entered.

wooooo I had such fun and by some weird fluke I managed to finish in the top 30 ...no idea how I managed to do that lol.
I'm sure I won't win the prize as I'm not normally a lucky contestant(but I love entering and hoping that maye I will win this time lol) , and I love the leaders pots, so I will be happy with those and hey, I'm lucky in life with my beautiful children and lovely husband, so who needs anything else:-) Have a good summer everyone and I look forward to competing against you all again ;-)

@Grandma... No everyone that has enter the contest can win... The prizes are sort of raffled of... each point is one raffle ticket (basiclly one chance to win), the more points you have the more chances you have but that does not garantees you a prize.... The only thing garanteed to the top 100 point collector was the Leader pot, this is a consolation prize of sorts, to acknowledge their achievement of being the top 100 point collectors.

Everyone has a chance... but the odds of 141 prizes raffled from over 900 000 points in total... Makes everyone's chances look impossible.... That is why it is the lucky of the draw...

If anyone else has not received their badge, had more than 50 petals and has "summer" in their status, try re-registering by clicking "edit" then "update your status", you don't have to change your message. On your next cast you should receive the pop-up awarding the badge :)

Through out this contest I have observed many treating one another with care & respect, supporting & encouraging, as they also did their best, and having fun! While it's true that life isn't always fair, and certainly not easy ~ it is indeed wonderful!
For me, (although you will soon be distributing prizes & I wish the best of luck to everyone!) the reminder in your simple, but eloquent exchange feels like the most wonderful 'prize' or gift of all. Again, thank you!
