Hi to the elders.

Looks like i am having a problem with the 3 of a kind. Its not registering on the herblolgist. This has happened to me on the gold seed pomellum and the fanged seed. Now i am unable to master the fanged seeds.

Please can the elders have a look into this, For i have used 2 x unicorns to master this seed.

Wicked, a few quick questions for you... Did the trader come by and make an offer? Did the unicorns work correctly? Did you have the game open in multiple tabs or was there anything unusual going on? Did you have any other pop-ups happening at about the same time? It looks like you only need one more 3-of-a-kind of the Iced Pepperseed to master the Fanged seeds.

No the trader did not come by and make an offer. Yes the unicorn did work correctly. No the game was not open in Multiple tabs and every thing seemed to be working fine.
Yes i have one more 3 of a kind to get in the Iced Pepperseed to master the fanged seed. That's why i used the unicorn to master the seed. So not sure what happened.

If the trader didn't come by, did you have all 3 plants on your stand at the same time? The trader is when the game knows to count the 3-of-a-kind.

I had two on my stand with a lemongrass. I sold one, then summonsed the unicorn, cast the spell and another one grew. sold one then the other one, yes the trader did come and tell me that i had grown 3 of a kind, the next plant was the same plant, then sold that one, the trader came again and said i had sold 4 in a row.

By trader, we don't mean the little blue bubble that pops up from your tip jar announcing how much your customer tipped you, we mean the guy who wants to buy all three of your plants at once. In order for your plants to count as a three-of-a-kind, they must all be on your stand together at once. Unfortunately, it does mean you often have to put other quests on hold for awhile, such as the old man one. The consecutive sales which you just did would count towards the 4-consecutive-sales, if you had gotten a fourth one as well. Perhaps this helps explains the difference in the mastery levels a bit more for you?

Side Note: You can say no to the trader and still have it count as a three-of-a-kind, but he must at least pop-up for you to know that it has counted as such

With the help of your selves and the rest on my EI friends, I have finally noticed where my problems comes from. In order for the 3 of a kind to work, i need to have 3 of the same plants on the stand. then the trader has to come and trade with me, If i have any other plant on the stand, even if i sell 3 of the same plant it will not count as a 3 of a kind.

I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. But i really do appreciate all your help.

I had and finished 3 of a kind for the Hearts Bane several times...was trying to get the 4 in a row so I used a unicorn and it said 4 in a row. I checked today and I see I still need the 4 in a row for the Hearts Bane. Looks like the unicorn did not work after all. Can you please check this out. I casted for this several days. Thanks for your help. :)

ADREG: There's no way for me to check your Wizard's Log, have you taken a screen shot of it? Also, did you sell plants 2, 3, and 4 as a 3-of-a-kind? If so, it doesn't always register for consecutive sales when that happens, even if you got it.

I don't know how a screen shot works. I had 7x 3 of a kind so for the 8 time I sold 1 and summoned a unicorn and got a other Hearts Bane. I sold them one by one and it kept adding up saying 2 in a row....then 3...then 4. I went to check later and it said I had 4 in a row but today it has changed to 3 in a row. ?

I just did the exact same thing with the Devil's club as I did with the Hearts Bane and it worked!!! So I think it must have been a glitch...I did have the 4 in a row of the Hearts Bane. Now I have to do it again and lost a unicorn that are so hard to come by. :(

ADREG: I'll replace the Unicorn from the Heart's Bane for you. I just wanted to make sure of how the situation came about.

I'm hoping an elder can look into my situation: In the last 2 days, I have spent 2 unicorns to try to summon the Heart's Bane. However, each time the unicorn appeared, I was not even offered the option to choose "Heart's Bane", rather, I was forced to choose the plant I had cast just before I cast the first Heart's Bane. So, basically, it feels like a bug and a waste of 2 unicorns. Thanks for helping me out :)

I am trying to master the bulb plants and trying for three in a row for the Fluxweed but each time I get 3 on the stand the mortar and pestal grind them up and they don't count as 3 in a row. What am I doing wrong? Thanks all.

[u]Krista[/u] - A question for you, I currently do not see any Hearts Bane's on your stand. In order to use a unicorn, you need the plant you wish to replicate on your stand, did you have one, or only the plant you just cast?

[u]MagicSpices [/u]- you won't be able to master the Bulb Seed while you are doing the Herbalism Basics quest, you'll need to finish the quest before you'll be able to continue the mastery.

I just had 3 cosecutive sale of the lava lilly but it does not show recorded...??

Caroline, for seed mastery, you need 4 consecutive sales of each plant.

Just sold three lava lillys declined the sale of three of a kind but was not recorded as such..no triple sale..why?

Caroline - When I visit your herbologist, I see that you've grown 7 three-of-a-kinds for the Lava Lily. It appears that it is recording just fine, unless do you see something else?
