I did the snowflake the day that the quest came out. Last night I visited one of my friends and I saw she had a beautiful butterfly. I went to Wiki and found that it was from redoing the snowflake quest. I had already finished the quest for the fuzzy seeds so I decided to redo the snowflake quest. I completed the quest again, but I didn't get a butterfly at the end. What did I do wrong? I don't have enough gold to redo it again.

Did you see the pop-ups while you re-did the quest?

I never had any pop-ups. I did when I started the fuzzy seeds but I never got anything for the gold seeds.

windy - that is why you didn't get the butterfly then. You actually didn't re-do the quest - you just kept casting the seeds :-\ the step I mentioned above is actually what is required to cause the quest start over, and to get that step you needed to be casting silver seeds. I'm sorry you got confused on that part. :(

How do I get the pop-up?

I just cast 5 snowflake seeds and nothing happened. I don't have much gold left. How many more casts do I have to do?

@ Windy I think you are still a little confused. Here is what happens.
1 Cast any silver seeds you like. Don't waste your snowflake seeds until you are started.
2 The trader comes along and asks if you want to trade just as Lauren and K said. (Did you mouse over their spoiler boxes to read their whole message?)
3 You trade what he wants. (You may hesitate but it's the only way to restart the quest.)
4 You switch to snowflake seeds and the quest starts again. It takes as many seeds the second time as it does the first time.

I peeked into your satchel and see that you haven't traded yet. So no matter how many more snowflake seeds you cast, the quest won't start.

OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I thought it would happen when I cast a snowflake. I've wasted 2 packs of seeds. I've given up and I'm casting something else now. Thanks so much for explaining it to me again.
