I have not received my credit for installing (although it was just last night and has not been 48 hrs) also last night I did two searches using the toolbar so I was down to 3 needed until I got credit. When I logged back on today it says 5 again... what happened? Do I have to do all 5 at once?

BTW absolutely LOVE the daily allowance!!

I have done at least 10 searches yesterday using the tool bar and have seen no credit for gold. I have done another five or more this morning as I go thru things I was experiencing to write this.

Usually the result in the Yahoo section I get is a white page with a 0 in the upper left corner.

My most recent search was for "coke thermometer" and the results showed up like this one http://search.freecause.com/search?ourmark=1&fr=freecause&ei=utf-8&type=61413&p=coke%20thermometer

I am not sure if this was the intent or not but it seems the number of searches needed to get gold with the new toolbar resets every day. Is that correct? (I am using Firefox if this matters.)

Also my question on how the Enchanted Island staff plans to decide what are fake searches remains unanswered.

I can't entirely answer your question, as I don't know. I noticed in testing that it resets. What I *can* say is that it isn't determined by anyone in EI as to what searches are fake. This is a 3rd party toolbar(like chat wasn't coded by EI, either). I know this is a question we had, so we've been waiting to hear back from the developers of the toolbar.

Since the toolbar topics I can find are now closed - I've been using it today & not having major problems (apart from the searches aren't very accurate, just fyi, and I can't narrow them down to my region like I can with yahoo or google) - and I got the gold reward for my searches until just now it went from "1 search till 3 gold" to "no rewards until tomorrow".
I'm wondering if this is supposed to happen after a certain amount of searches (in which case please let us know how many), or something else has gone wrong.
I'm especially wondering how you think you know when something is a "real" search - has this happened because you somehow don't think the searches I'm doing are "real" - and are you watching everything I search for (this would be kinda worrying!), somehow thinking "nobody would want to search for that so it can't be real"?
(really like the gold reward for using it though - still waiting for the initial 400 but it hasn't been 48 hours yet.)

It can take up to 48 hours before you're awarded the 400 gold for installing it. When I installed the toolbar, the searches seem to take a bit of time before it registered. I suggest giving it about an hour for the counter to catch up.

I installed my toolbar yesterday and did @real' searches using it and have no gold from it... how long does it take to catch up, I'm kind of enjoying this gold quest!

I installed the search bar and have used it today and it keeps jumping from 3 searches to one search to 5 searches. I do enjoy this game thanks.

In toold bar it says I can cast but when I do it the screen blinks... and need to close and restart the pc

@Lisa I'm exactly the same but I get my gold for the searches, or one set of gold anyway even though it doesnt record some of them, but none for my install...?

So I don't think this is a bug but I might be wrong and posting in the wrong place. I installed the toolbar a couple of days ago and I know that it takes 48hrs or so for your gold to show up but I haven't gotten mine yet and yes the bar shows my gold count and timer.
Was just wondering whats going on with that?

I installed the toolbar yesterday (still waiting for the 400 gold), did 4 searches yesterday that I needed to do, then this morning I am up to 5 searches needed for 3 gold, so I tried one search to see if that would straighten things out, but no. Is this a bug?

I installed the tool bar over the weekend and still haven't received the bonus gold as of today, Tuesday.

still no gold for the install and no reset for the search bar

it has been 48 hours since i installed the toolbar, and i have not received my 400 gold.

I have downloaded the tool bar and 48 hours later i have still not re ceived my gold

my toolbar seams to be working fine but have not received my gold

I'm looking into the install credit right now, not sure why that didn't work. I just want to assure everyone that we'll make sure you get credited for this. Worst case I'll be sure to manually credit everyone (we can detect in our system who installed the toolbar).

update - I still haven't got the 400 for installing.

I was under the impression that we would receive our 400 gold for installing the Island Tool Bar within 48 hours. It has been over 48 hours now & I still have not received my gold for this installation. Could you please find out why. Thank You.

Hi, I have the same problem as *eilish the Lucid* - a white page with a 0 in the upper left corner. In other words it doesn't search anything, however it does give 3 gold after 5 searches. if it is the way how the toolbar works ok then, but it's a bit strange....I will search in order to get gold but it would be better if I receive the information I am looking for instead of typing it into the toolbar box to receive my 3 gold and then type the same search into another search engine....

I installed my toolbar as soon as I heard about it on Sunday and still have not received my $400. HOWEVER! I have leveled up, received money for browsing (reset to 5 after received first 3 coins) AND been paid for Monday and Tuesday play as promised. I have more gold than ever before (but then I'm just a Gecko).
