Hi everyone!

We've just released the latest premium seed -- the Snowflakes! You can find this seed in Pursten's Premium Shop for a limited time.

We've also just released the quest associated with these new seeds, you should have the Crystal Snowflake badge on your profile. The quest will start as soon as you start casting the new snowflake seeds.

Like many of our recent quests, this quest is replayable. There is a trick to restarting it, though. Hopefully it's fairly intuitive.

There is also a new pot, a new collectible item, and a new hidden character. None of these are required for completing the quest -- they're just something nice for all the player's who appreciate a good mystery.

[b]Update[/b]: For everyone trying to restart: Switch to any silver seed. Eventually something will happen. When it does you can switch back to snowflakes and your first cast will restart the quest. : ))

ARGH!! And YAAAAY!!! I didn't know the other seeds were about to disappear, and was happily going to Pursten's to buy more spectrals, and maybe some spores, but they had vanished!! But to my surprise and delight, I found them replaced with a new and exotic seed! So thanks Dude and Keith and everyone else in charge of the Island :)

I think this quest is going to take a fair bit of gold to complete. I'm just a bit into it now. It looks fun though, and I've been saving gold for the quest. Thanks for the extra stuff; I wonder if I'll figure any of it out.

Yes, the new pots are (literally) cool! I just wish I had got to grow all the Snowflakes in them - it would look nice in Herbologist's ;) - but I want to keep 5 of them in my satchel.

@ Amy Lucky you. Despite my gurgling of the luck potions I've been saving, I am getting duds. About 10% so far. Onward and upward.

is there any chance you can set something up where we can buy Gold with the Silver we have?....i have almost 23'000 silver

Sandy, that's weird, because I haven't gotten any duds from these seeds yet. Were you getting duds before using the Luck Potion?

@ K Yes That's why I started using them. But they're not working. I've just gotten two duds in a row. I suppose that's why the pop-ups say "You'll have to grow [b]about [/b] X more flowers. I'm casting the number of seeds they say before each step. They just don't all grow. Maybe my cold is diminishing my wizardly powers. Sniff.

These new Seeds sound like fun! I just leveled up and got more Gold, and I'm currently trying to win the Gnomes favor by collecting 50 Gnomish Coins, so I spent all the Gold I was going to on the Spores, keeping a little more than 400 Gold to spend on the Owls, but after reading the Posts about the new Seeds, I think I'll get at least five of them! I understand if you don't want to say, but can you tell me if you can turn into looking like this new hidden charactor, like you can look like Kendral? If so, can you tell me who this new charactor is?

@Virpi: That's right. Red the Feisty has the 1st hidden collectible item. The hidden character will be a story regular eventually, but for now she will only visit very rarely.

How come I didn't get any duds when I first made the quest, but as I cast Snowflakes now, I get duds even if I drink a luck potion. :?

I am not seeing any of the new pots or other items. Where do i find them???

Hmm....do we ALL get the hidden collectible? I am 95% done and have not seen any collectible....ohhh....can't wait!

I appreciate new seeds and quest, I was wondering if the last 3 seeds will go on sale again??? I didn't get to finish my quests...it takes to many casts and the energy doesn't fill quick enough...I get up about 3 or 4 times a night and cast my 6 casts and all day yesterday and today and time still ran out before I could level up...I really like this game and I understand it is to run in the background and to go back and forth too, but I think an improvement could be made somehow...I don't mean to cast another shadow over this quaint little island, but it does get frustrating...I don't have money to buy gold so just have to wait until I level up!!! How can you guys do this all so fast? Are you using green dragons?

@ Mariana: Lots of people save their green dragons for new quests. I prefer to take my time and only use green dragons when I am trying to collect dragon seeds.
