Pursten has received word that a new premium quest will be released this upcoming Friday. For the first time ever he's managed to obtained a small quantity of a few premium seeds all at once!

Totally sweet! Finally finished up Fun with Color and now I'm all caught up (except for the holiday one that you can't do right now since I started after Christmas).

Now to work on leveling up so I'll have gold to check out the newness when it arrives. :D

woah! I just went into the premium shop and noticed that there are 3 gold seeds in there at once! that is kind of awesome! I am amazed at Pursten's ability to get 3 seeds at once! but I agree with Lylic that [b]there should be a yellow notification about this[/b] please. I know it might just bring in people who are annoyed at all of the gold stuff lately...but still, I really think that people aren't going to check the premium shop if they have given up on gold seeds so it might be worth making an announcement.

Also, I just wanted to put in a little bit of my own opinion here...I know it is slightly off-topic but in my mind it still is related. (So you guys don't have to tell me that it's off topic...it's just stretching the topic in my opinion lol!)
[i]I really think that if one of [b]you elders[/b] decided to open up a discussion about concerns that some of us will invariably begin to have as the island population grows, it would be a good idea. I am particularly interested in repeatable quests (which are currently only available by using gold seeds originally) because I know that more people will complain about all of the gold quests when this new quest comes out on Friday. I think many of us are also wondering how the possible hiring of a 3rd elder will affect the island, and about other plans for the future in general. but if the discussion is not opened by the elders then I don't think it would work as well. But I digress.[/i]

@ Ariel; there is a silver quest which can be repeated over & over. I have done it a few times now. Bulb seeds grow nice flowers. :0)

@Michelle, I did not want to elaborate too much because I felt like it would get too much off topic...but the secret quest you are referring to has some requirements (namely, that you have to **spoiler** first. So I tried to sort of say that by saying "only available by using gold seeds [i]originally[/i]," but I guess that still wasn't clear enough lol.

don't know about everyone else but i have a yellow notification bar at the top of the page..that's how i knew about the seeds!

I'm loloking forward to the new seeds too .... but I'm [i][b]not[/b][/i] looking forward to all the "It's not fair! I used all my gold on the spore/spectral/whatever seeds to days ago and now I've got none left for the new seeds!" posts we'll see starting one minute after the new seeds are released.

I don't know why anyone gripes about gold quests. It isn't that hard to level, sometimes more than once when seeds are in stock. Keep an extra browser open and play often....

This is such a fun game!! Especially with the gifts now.

am desperate, i really need all of these seeds but i have only 82 gold......why are they on sale for such a short time?? and i have 266 casts till level up.........

the seeds will rotate... from what I see there are very few quests/seed sets/whatever that are not repeatable... I have only been playing for around a month, and already I've noticed the premium seeds are back around to where they started when I first started playing. and they are on sale for such a short time because not everyone needs the same seeds at the same time.

(I think what i mean by that is relax and have fun, they're just seeds, and they will be back... and if they aren't.... well... eventually those of us who aren't caught up yet will be caught up, and we will WANT all the extra stuff because there won't be anything else to do. And thinking about it that way, I'm glad the game is set up the way it is, and if the developers listened to those of us who aren't caught up, and are whining about it, it wouldn't be worth trying to catch up because it would be superboring at the top with no new stuff to do)

Ok, I'll apologise first if this is in the wrong place but I have looked and done a couple searches using different wording to find out if an unfinished quest needs to be started again from scratch. Have bought Spectrals twice now and not been able to finish the quest both times due to running out of Gold. Any help would be great :)

Well said Jenny & Lily! I've been here about four months now & was able to start the Fun with Colour & Discover Your Magicstone quests way back then but the seeds went out of stock each time before I could level up & buy more. I like the game a lot so although at first I was disappointed that I couldn't complete those two quests, I quickly realized it didn't matter because there were other quests I could do & if nothing else, build up my silver & gold.

When the Spectrals & then Faceted seeds became available recently I had no other quests to do so I was glad to have those two to work on still. I think Dude & Keith & everyone who helps here in their spare time are awesome for doing so! If people want to constantly whine, why are they even here? They're only tainting their own experiences with their sourpuss personalities :p

@ Brighid; that quest takes a very long time to do so don't worry if it seems to be not picking up again quickly. All the quests that I can remember you are able to pick up where you left off in each of them. Happy casting! :0)

@ Ariel: yours is a great idea, that way all the concerns will be concentrated in just one thread instead of being all over where they cant always be answered.
I also would like more repeatable quests, and a 3rd elder would really be necessary if the population keeps growing (which is happening).

My pleas have been answered - freaky cause I have been thinking the Elders could do just what they had done- brilliant . Great timeing I have just finished off 2 very old quests hoping the seeds would come back one day only 1 more outstanding quest - I do not having unfinished buisness. Enchanted Island should be renamed Patience Island :-) GOOD Job AGAIN

I just looked and noticed these seeds are ones which have been available before .. so I am wondering if the new upcoming quest will require ALL 3 of these seeds ? Its going to be awkward working out how many might be needed - to buy them before they disappear again.

I've finally finished the Fun with colour quest!It's taken a very long time but worth the patience!It's Gnomish Hopscotch next,can't wait!

@Rox lol that is exactly why I was thinking. And I know that a lot of people think that we shouldn't pay attention to the people who aren't happy about all of the hard work that has been put into this game...I guess it is just my nature to wish we could make as many people as possible happy. I know it's not really realistic. But if we say "why are you even here?" then they will leave. We don't REALLY want them to leave, do we? We want them to love this game as much as we do!

I guess what's really on my mind is something that happened recently. One of my best friends finally started enjoying the game after it took her months to get past the first few quests, and now she has finished the main arc of quests. And she came to me asking "what am I supposed to do now?" While I have, of course, all of the things that I do myself which I could tell her, one of those things was repeatable quests. Except she has done NONE of the gold quests at all! So until I can get her to see that the gold quests really are worth doing, she has no other "repeatable" quest to do. And I had heard Keith say that he wanted to do more repeatable quests...but with the release of a new gold seed approaching I was just thinking about how all of these repeatable gold quests (excluding the secret one which requires a gold quest finished) may seem daunting to a person like my friend who hasn't done them the first time. And I figured that this type of concern went well with the other concerns I've been hearing about the rising population. Some of you may not be aware that back in December, the elders said that if they could get 100,000 players then they would hire a 3rd elder to do more awesome stuff for us. And then there are other population concerns...namely, I've got this picture in my head of tens of thousands of new players rushing to finish the main arc of quests and then all at once, saying "what now???" like my friend is. I'm sure that there are a lot of other things that people have been thinking about with the population rising as well...I just think that if a player begins this conversation, then people will stick to the topic that the player discusses and not their own concerns. And then it won't work. But if an elder starts the discussion, everybody will talk because they will know that somebody is listening. And that was really what I wanted to stress.
